All of their nectars are made with pure cane sugar and carefully fortified with calcium and electrolytes to help aid healthy eggshell growth and eliminate. They will be attracted the red color of the feeder, so don’t fret. It’s not necessary and may even be bad for Hummingbirds. These are all dangerous to Hummingbirds and in some cases, deadly.
